Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about our premium denim and craft garments.
What makes Hiroshi Kato denim unique?
Our denim is crafted using 4-way stretch selvedge fabric sourced from top mills in Japan and ethically assembled in the USA. We combine traditional shuttle-loom aesthetics with modern comfort technology.
How should I choose the right size?
We recommend checking our detailed Size Guide on each product page. Since many of our garments are made from raw or indigo-dyed fabrics, please note if a specific style is 'Sanforized' (pre-shrunk) or 'Unsanforized' before purchasing.
What is your return and exchange policy?
We offer returns and exchanges on unworn, unwashed items with original tags attached within 30 days of delivery. Please note that hemmed or customized items are final sale.
Do you offer international shipping?
Yes, we ship worldwide. Shipping costs and delivery timelines are calculated at checkout based on your location. Please be aware that international orders may be subject to local customs duties and taxes.
How do I care for my raw denim?
To preserve the indigo and achieve unique fades, we recommend washing as infrequently as possible. When necessary, hand wash cold with a mild detergent and hang to dry. Avoid the dryer at all costs.
Can I have my jeans hemmed?
We offer professional chain-stitch hemming services for a small fee. Please specify your desired inseam length when adding the item to your cart. Note that hemmed jeans cannot be returned.
